1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Sleep Therapy: AI Assistant, developed by Yaroslav Pesotskyi (“we”, “us”, “Sleep Therapy”).

2. What data we collect
We collect the following categories of data when you use the app:
- Account and profile data: name, email address, gender, date of birth (optional), and information received from Google or Apple when you sign in.
- Dream content: dream descriptions (typed or voice-transcribed), AI interpretations, AI assistant chat history, and AI-generated dream images you choose to save.
- Mood data: selected mood, date, and optional text notes; AI mood analysis results.
- App settings: language, interpretation preferences, notification times, sleep helper preferences.
- Subscription data: subscription status and access level (processed via RevenueCat and Google Play Billing).
- Device and technical data: device identifiers, crash reports, analytics, and ad-related data collected by integrated SDKs (see Section 5).
- Microphone: used only for speech-to-text when you dictate a dream. We store the transcribed text only; raw audio is not saved by the app.
You can use some features without signing in. AI features require an account.
3. How we use your data
- Authenticate you and sync your data across devices.
- Provide AI dream interpretation, mood analysis, and assistant chat.
- Store your dream calendar and mood history.
- Manage subscriptions and restore purchases.
- Show ads to non-subscribers (via Google AdMob).
- Improve app stability, analytics, and user experience.
- Respond to support requests.
4. How and where data is stored
On your device:
- The app caches profile, dreams, moods, and settings locally using AsyncStorage on your phone or tablet.
- Local data remains until you delete the app, clear app data, delete your account in Settings, or sign out (session tokens are cleared on sign out).
In the cloud:
- Account data, dreams, moods, interpretation settings, and subscription records are stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL database hosted in the cloud).

AI-generated dream images are stored in Supabase Storage (bucket:
dream-images). - Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth (Google / Apple sign-in).
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Android
app backups are disabled (allowBackup="false").
5. Third-party services
We share data with the following service providers as needed to operate the app:
- Supabase — authentication, database, file storage. Privacy Policy
- OpenAI — processing dream and mood text to generate AI responses and images. Privacy Policy
- Google — AdMob ads, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Sign-In, and speech recognition (via device OS). Privacy Policy
- Apple — Sign in with Apple (iOS). Privacy Policy
- RevenueCat — subscription management. Privacy Policy
- Branch.io — deep links and attribution. Privacy Policy
6. Data retention
- Account, dreams, moods, and profile data: stored while your account is active. After we receive and process your deletion request, we delete this data within 30 days.
- Local cache on device: until you delete the app, clear app storage, or sign out.
- Analytics and advertising data: retained according to Google and other providers’ policies (typically up to 14 months for Google Analytics).
- Subscription and payment records: retained as required by applicable tax and accounting laws.
- Support emails: retained for up to 12 months after your request is resolved.
7. How to delete your data
To delete your personal data and account, submit a deletion request using one of the following methods:
Request in the app:
- Open the app and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm your request.
This submits a deletion request to our team. We will process it and delete your account data, dreams, moods, profile, and related cloud records within 30 days.
Request by email:
Send an email to sleeptherapy.app@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my data” from the email address linked to your account. We will respond and complete deletion within 30 days.
Delete individual dreams:
You can delete a single dream entry from the dream calendar inside the app at any time without contacting support.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Contact us at sleeptherapy.app@gmail.com.
9. Children
The app is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes take effect when published on this page. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised accordingly.
